They are beatable, but I could see their flair players causing us all sorts of problems.

But isn't the people who slaughter England for going out etc actually the English media and English supporters ?

Can't speak for any other country but Ireland is 4 million people, football isn't the number one sport, there is no professional league in the country and the sun of their entire team is less than the price of a Pogba.

So in that basis I suppose we did well all things considered.

Would love to see PAYET knock those Tottenham boys out in the quarters.

Mad ain't it Saul. Northern Ireland were praised yesterday for having a great tournament. They lost 3 of their 4 games!

The weaknesses from France are there for all to see. Ponderous first half. Ageing weak defence. Can be attacked on the flanks.

If England get there, we should change our shape. A narrow-ish 4-4-1-1. Nullify Payet and Griezmann from wide, try to overload from wide. Let Rooney keep their DMs busy. Would suit Vardy too.

I'll be shocked if we manage to keep hold of Randolph.

At least Payet won't have to face any team mates in the next round.

Cheers Roy.

Re: France v Ro Ireland
Why is it when Ireland, Wales or Scotland go out of a competition they are a credit to their country, brave, unlucky and fuck knows what other positive comments, but when England go out they get called all the cunts under the sun?

France should have had 6 in this half

Kante and Rami (?) out of the quarter final
Have France got another centre half?
Rami looks like the bottom of the barrel already
